The book follows the story of a little superhero named Lucas. His favorite things are his Teddy bear, candy, and cakes. He sometimes makes mistakes. It includes teasing his friend Lisa because of her glasses. Lucas and his mom talk with him about what happened. She reminds him that he needs to show kindness. The next day, Lucas decides to show kindness to Lisa by apologizing and to others he interacts with throughout his day. Lucas can learn the true meaning of kindness and how to be caring, sensitive, and generous toward others around him.
