Written by Stacy McAnulty and illustrated by Claire Keane.

A girl tells her parents that she wants to have 100 dogs. In a surprise response, her parents agree with one question. Where will all the dogs sleep? It makes the girl question wanting 100 dogs since having that many would be too much. So she asks for 90. Her parents again ask how she plans to walk 90 dogs daily. It gets the girl thinking that 90 dogs may be too many, especially when walking them all simultaneously. It counts down to having ten dogs when her parents ask her how she would like to pick up all of the poop that comes along with that many dogs. It continues this way between the girl and her parents until she realizes fewer dogs may be better for her, especially when she finds her ONE special dog to love.
