The 5th book is called Arnie the Doughnut written and illustrated by Laurie Keller.
Arnie, the doughnut, gets purchased by Mr. Bing. Arnie is excited to go home with him until Mr. Bing tries to eat him. Arnie does not know that he is supposed to be eaten as a doughnut. He convinces Mr. Bing not to eat him. Arnie and Mr. Bing then try to find creative things that Arnie can do instead. This story takes you on that adventure and the growing friendship between Arnie and Mr. Bing.
