The 36th book is called Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun written by Maria Dismondy and illustrated by Kim Shaw.
Lucy is different. She has a big head of hair, a desire to eat fun food, and is always made fun of by a boy named Ralph at school because she is different. Lucy always tries to be brave and stay herself. Finally, she has had enough, so she turns to her Papa Gino for advice. He reminds her always to do the right thing and treat people with kindness even though they do not treat you that way. Ralph eventually needs Lucy's help when he gets stuck high on the playground. Lucy remembers her Papa Gino's advice and becomes more prominent by helping Ralph in his time of need.
