The story follows a dog who is loved by his owners very much. He takes his job as "the boss" of the house very seriously. When his owners leave him in charge for the day, he eagerly takes on the responsibility of keeping the five cats safe and out of trouble. However, things quickly get out of hand as the cats start to run amok, and the dog realizes that being in charge isn't as easy as he thought. The dog falls asleep from all of the commotion. While the dog sleeps, the cats clean up their mess to help the dog. When the owners come home, everything is perfect, and everyone is happy.
