The 11th book is called The Rainbow Fish written and illustrated by Marcus Pfister.
Rainbow fish is the most beautiful fish in the whole ocean. He has iridescent scales. He loves his scales and wants everyone to admire and love them. His fellow fish ask him if they can also have a scale to make themselves beautiful. Rainbow Fish tells them no and realizes no one wants to befriend him. He realizes that sharing his unique scales will allow him to do something he has never experienced: friendship.
