Written by Joanna Ho and illustrated by Dung Ho.

A young Asian girl notices that her eyes look different than those of her friends and peers at school. Most of them have big, round eyes and long lashes, unlike her, who has eyes that kiss in the corner. She realizes that her eyes are like those of her family members. She ends up talking to both her mother and grandmother about her eyes. After those talks, she can recognize that her eyes are beautiful and just hers. They are something that makes her special and unique. In return, this allows the girl to love herself just as she is.
